The World Health Organization recommends Acupuncture for more than 100 conditions. For the following diseases, symptoms or conditions, Acupuncture has been ‘prove[d] – through controlled trials – to be an effective treatment’:

• Malposition of fetus, correction of
• Morning sickness
• Nausea and vomiting

• Pain in dentistry (including dental pain and temporomandibular dysfunction)

• Renal colic
