Acupuncture promotes the body's natural healing power by inserting sterilized, stainless steel needles (as fine as a human hair) into specific acupuncture points within channels (Luo 络) and meridians (Jing经), located under the surface of the skin where the Qi flows throughout the body. 

Your provider will formulate a Eastern medical diagnosis and treatment plan based upon examination and consultation including checking the tongue and pulse. 

Electro-acupuncture uses a stim device which generate a small electrical current to stimulate acupuncture points through needles. 

It is useful for various chronic pain management and fertility cases, when qi and blood stimulation is required. Patients often experience a light, gentle vibrating sensation at the local points.  

Cupping is a modality used to open the meridians of the body and move qi and blood stagnations, by creating a negative pressure using glass/plastic cups. 

After leaving the cups on the skin for 5-15 minutes, local blood stasis and toxic pathogens are brought to the surface for the lymphatic system to clear them away. There are temporary (3-7 days) cupping marks from light red to dark purple color, that indicating the severity of the blood stagnation on the local area. Patient often describe feeling less tightness or tension after receive cupping.

Chinese Herbs have been used for over 3000 years and continue to be a major form of modern intervention in China. The advantage of Chinese herbal medicine is always treating the root cause rather than a symptom. After consultation with the practitioner, patient usually receive a formula consist of a base formula and 3-5 singles herbs modification, tailor to their individual health concern and diagnosis. 

Moxibustion is the most used treatment modality in conjunction with Acupuncture for thousands of years. 

Moxibustion involves burning the "mugwort" herb, which generate a positive warming energy that pernitrate meridians, to stimulate the flow of qi and fortify the Yang energy. 

It is commonly used for fertility, breech pregnancy and digestive issues.
